No. If he's done it more than twice, it's not going to get any better. It only gets worse. I can say because I was in a situation where it was mentally & physically abusive. He would threaten me about hurting my family if i said anything. He almost ended my life 2x because I was trying to leave & one morning I woke up and didn't care the outcome, I packed what thing I could had to physically fight to get out. Even if it meant I had to end his life.
